Our personnel

Dr. Karla Bruntzel is a seasoned higher education professional with over 30 years of experience. Starting her career as an athletic trainer, she later earned a PhD in foot biomechanics from the University of Leeds, UK, influencing the barefoot shoe movement. After returning to the U.S., she transitioned into academia, holding leadership roles such as Academic Dean and Dean of Health Sciences. Since 2014, she has been a full-time professor, spearheading academic programs and global partnerships. Her travels to Nepal and India in 2023 strengthened her passion for international education, leading to the co-founding of Ed X Global with Vinay Jami.
